What will you do as a Data Expert?

 

You know what is going on in your environment in the field of information and data management. Whether it concerns developments at Defence, developments at related organizations or developments internally at the MIVD, you are informed. You also know how to translate these developments into strategic frameworks and guidelines for our organization. You work centrally in a team with other colleagues from the cluster.
 

A salary around € 4200 gross.

Your tasks are:
•  You take the lead in processes around data-driven working;
•  You have a vision on data-driven working and you can convey it well;
•  You bring a lot of knowledge about data and transfer that knowledge to colleagues;
•  You participate in projects related to data governance and data management;
•  You give solicited and unsolicited advice to the i-column and the organization;

You work closely with many colleagues within the Unit IM and the i-column. You will be working in a complex playing field, in which you have to take into account the strategic agenda of the organization on the one hand and have a feeling for practical implementation on the shop floor on the other. In that complex playing field you can communicate at different levels and you know how to formulate sound advice. Complex means multiple stakeholders. 

Background assignment
The MIVD is an information-processing organization and is undergoing a digital transition to a data-driven intelligence process, higher adaptivity, different knowledge/skills, more intensive forms of collaboration and other tools in the field of data and information. The Unit IM plays a crucial role in this.

MIVD: MIVD is a professional organization that facilitates the Defense units and other clients within the government in being able to (continue to) perform their tasks effectively and efficiently. Employees within MIVD work together and share knowledge, based on the realization that the best quality can only be delivered in this way. 

To demand
at least 2 years of experience with data management and data governance processes  
Candidate has completed a university education.  

To wish
• Experience as a data expert/data manager  
• Experience with project-based work  
• Experience of working for a national government organization  
•  University education in the field of data or data management.  
• Experience with DMBOK framework implementation   

• Certificate DMBOK Foundation
