Logistics planner

What will you do as a transport planner?

As a transport planner, you are in the planning department with two other colleagues. You are responsible for the daily planning of the drivers in combination with material by efficiently dividing the journeys and charters, instructing and guiding the drivers in a timely and complete manner. You continuously optimize the planning, in consultation with the transport coordinator and/or the customer. You identify bottlenecks and contribute to a constant improvement of the process. You do this, among other things, by monitoring compliance with agreements and achieving the KPIs. In this role you report to the branch manager. You work on a good operating result and as a planner you also indirectly influence a satisfied customer. Do all transports run smoothly? Then you have reached your goal!

What you must have:

• Education level MBO+ or HBO;

• You work accurately and are proactive;

• You have at least 2 years of experience as a transport planner;

• You have knowledge of legislation and regulations in the field of transport;

• You are willing to work shifted shifts from 07:00-16:00 and 15:00-00:00;

• Experience with TMS and PTV Route Optimiser is an advantage.
